Hello! My name is Ian Garcia and I currently attend San José State University pursuing a degree in Public Relations, as well as a minor in Computer Science. I am currently in my second year of college, so I still have a long way to go in terms of work that needs to be accomplished. On campus, I am currently involved with AkbayanSJSU’s 44th Cabinet serving as a Public Relations Officer for the 2020–2021 school year!

I am from San Francisco, California and being from the Bay Area has more than definitely impacted my life. From “giggin” to Mac Dre, to skating around infamous skate spots such as Pier 7, I have been more than blessed to be born and raised in a culturally-rich environment. In the near future, I hope to bring the culture of the Bay Area with me wherever life decides to take me!
